Our story
A small team from Shyamnagar with one simple promise: pure food, honestly made.

Where it began
Jhalok started in Shyamnagar, Satkhira — a few kilometres from the world's largest mangrove forest. For generations, families here have gone into the Sundarbans to collect honey, tap golpata palms and gather wild fruit.
Their work is hard and often dangerous, yet the food they bring out usually reaches the market without their name, mixed and sold by middlemen. Buyers are left wondering what is real.
We started Jhalok to change that: to bring the Sundarbans to your table honestly, with the people behind every jar in full view.
What we stand for

Nothing added, nothing mixed. If it is not pure, it does not carry our name.
We buy directly from collectors inside the Sundarbans and pay them fairly.
We collect only in season and within forest rules. We never use illegally cut timber.
Clear information on every pack and no false health claims.
From forest to table
Collectors enter the Sundarbans in season, with forest permits, to gather sap, honey and fruit.
Everything is processed by hand in small batches in Shyamnagar, without chemicals.
Each batch is checked before it is packed in clean glass jars.
We deliver free anywhere in Bangladesh.
